Parent-Teacher Conferences (SIC) will be Thursday, October 15th, 4-8 pm, or Friday, October 16th, 8:30-11:30 am. We always appreciate connecting with you as we support your students in their academic growth.
Extra 2025-2026 Yearbooks! Speak to Mr. Hamm in room 120 if you would like to purchase a extra yearbook. There are a limited amount still available for $60 each.
Career Symposium - October 21 Over 50+ colleges, universities and local businesses will have a booth set up in the NPC Gym. Be sure to check it out on your lunch break! Parents are also welcome to attend during the lunch hour, 11:25-12:25.
Volunteer opportunities - Students interested in volunteering should plan to attend the Winkler Volunteer Fair on Oct. 22 at GVC to see the many options to choose from. Go at lunch or after school until 6. Remember, you can earn a volunteer credit, just speak with your GC for info and to pick up a form.
ALL STUDENTS: please check "NPC Students" on Teams regarding Wednesday's Career Symposium. There is a schedule for the day, list of 50-ish exhibitors and maps. Students should prepare questions for exhibitors to help guide important decisions about high school courses and future careers! Students can also complete or redo myBlueprint surveys to help guide career conversations and choices (login info in Teams). Parents are encouraged to visit the gymnasium between 11:30-12:30 (lunch hour) to explore booths and speak with exhibitors to gather information that may shape their child's future.
Grade 11 & 12 Students (parents too) are encouraged to attend university Open House and Discovery Days this month. Visit institution websites for details and to register. Most are come-and-go, with campus and residence tours, program information, details about scholarships and awards, and in the case of CMU, free application for next fall (on top of FREE RESIDENCE for first year students!).
