The Winkler Career Symposium will take place on October 22 at GVC. Learn about post-secondary education and career opportunities. NPC Grade 10-12 students will be bussed to GVC for the symposium (grade 11-12 during period 3, grade 10 during period 5). Grade 11 and 12 students will also have the opportunity to attend information sessions for Manitoba colleges and universities during lunch and period 5. Students should make arrangements with their period 5 teacher if they plan to attend a period 5 information session. Please check TEAMS for more information.
Lifetouch Picture Day - Oct. 21
If you missed Picture Day in September, please be prepared to have your picture taken! If you need a RETAKE - please bring your Proof Portrait Sheet to hand in to the photographer.
Grade 12's who are planning to enroll in the Health Care Aide program offered at RRC in semester two are asked to check the "Health Care Aide" chat in Teams for an important announcement. If there are any grade 12 students who may be interested in learning more, or would like to be added to the HCA group, please speak with your Guidance Counsellor for more information.
Attention Grade 9 Students: Take Our Kids Day forms are now due. Please hand in your forms to either your 5th period teacher or to Mr. Shepherd in Guidance. Remember, if you are having problems finding a placement, it does not have to be with parents only, you can ask other family members, family friends, or other community members. If you have questions, please connect with Mr. Shepherd.
Indigenous high school students interested in learning more or possibly attending the University of Manitoba are asked to register for the New Buffalo Education Gathering Event for potential students which will be held on Friday, November 14th from 9-3. Intramural Pickleball is here! The mission is simple, find a partner, come up with a school appropriate name, sign your team up on the intramural bulletin board, show up for the games, and enjoy a lifetime of great memories. Sign-up papers will stay up all week and games will start Oct. 27th. This week will be open gym. If you have any questions come find Mr. Rachul.
Come cheer on our hockey team as they take on the GVC Zodiacs on Friday. Game starts at 7:30pm. They will also be hosting the Mountain Mustangs Saturday at 7:30pm.

The University of British Columbia (UBC) will have a booth set up on Tuesday, October 21 from 12-1 pm in The Commons. Please visit them to pick up viewbooks, learn more about their campuses, and ask questions.
