Celebration of Life - On May 4 there will be a celebration of life for Dominic Wolfe at the curling rink from 5:00 – 8:00pm. All students and staff are welcome to attend. The family has asked that people indicate their interest in attending by signing up in the office so that they know how much food to order. The sign-up sheet will be in the office Thursday and Friday of this week. There will be a funeral at a later date.

50K MAY - 50K May is upon us. Get outside - WALK, RUN, or BIKE during May for not only your health but also the chance to be the GREATEST ZODIAC OF ALL TIME. Students and staff should join the 50K May Team using the code: zsenqxl. NEW THIS YEAR: By completing the challenge, you can earn GRADE POINTS!!! If you have any questions, please talk to a PE Teacher.

Mental Health Week - Next week is Mental Health Week in Canada. The week is designated by the Canadian Mental Health Association to raise awareness and promote mental health. We are going to focus on one theme each day. The theme for the weekend is Acts of Kindness. Simple acts of kindness can boost happiness and self-esteem, while encouraging social connections and a sense of belonging. Acts of kindness can include a simple compliment to someone, offering to complete a task for others, and volunteering for a cause you care about.

Weekend challenge: Offer to help someone with a task or complete a task spontaneously (eg. make supper for the family). Bring a picture of the completed task to Guidance by nutrition break on Monday to be entered in a draw for a $50 gift card.

Stonehouse - Stonehouse will be taking place today during lunch in W26. Drop by to hang out and play board games. Everyone is welcome!

Varsity Badminton - Congrats to the varsity badminton teams of Bektur and Bryson (boys doubles) and Koen (singles) on finishing in the top 4 of their pools and advancing to playoffs this Saturday at Provincials.
