Post-Secondary Information Meeting - There will be a meeting on Thursday at the beginning of lunch in W26 for grade 12s interested in post-secondary information. You will have an opportunity to sign up for a Teams chat where information on schools, scholarships, and upcoming events will be shared. Please see Guidance if you have any questions.
Course Withdrawal Forms - Starting today, students in grades 10-12 will need to complete a withdrawal form in order to drop a semester 1 class. These forms require signatures from your teacher, parent/guardian, and guidance counsellor. You can get a course withdrawal form from your guidance counsellor. The drop deadline for semester 1 is Friday, December 4th.
Intramural Soccer - Intramural soccer begins today…please check the schedule to see when your team plays. The flag football schedule will be posted later today with football games beginning tomorrow.
Closest to the pin challenge - Congratulations to Mr. Goertzen on winning the closest to the pin golf challenge on Friday. The flag was 60 yards out and he placed his shot 1 foot away from the pin.
2025-26 Yearbooks - Yearbooks will be on sale in the office beginning Wednesday, September 23rd for $60.00. There is a limited quantity available.
Scorekeepers and Timekeepers Needed - LOVE SPORTS? Want to get involved in GVC ATHLETICS? We are looking for scorekeepers, timekeepers, announcers, and music people for the Hockey Season and Scorekeepers for Volleyball. Please see Mrs. Mullin if you are interested in getting involved.
GVC Boys Soccer - The Boys Soccer team put on a strong showing this Saturday at their home tournament. They started with the provincial final rematch against Niverville and came out on top 1-0, before beating Morden 3-1 in the semi-final, and NPC 1-0 in the final. They will look to keep up their winning streak as they play at NPC again today to start the league play. See you there!
