GVC Winter Clothing Drive - GVC Winter Clothing Drive - Nov 24 - Dec 5 - Bring in NEW or gently used winter clothing to W24. Keep our GVC families warm this winter!


Annual Food Drive - Reminder, GVC students! Tomorrow's featured item is Spaghetti sauce, worth 20 points each. Bring them to your Period 2 classroom and help someone enjoy a warm meal!


OurSchool Survey - Students are scheduled to complete the OurSchool survey during their Period 2 class on December 1, 2, or 3.  Those with a spare during this time may complete the survey in the library—please see Mrs. Banman for instructions.  Thank you in advance for participating; your feedback helps GVC with school planning.


Stonehouse - There will be a decorating party in The Zone on Tuesday (December 2) after school. You are invited to join us as we hang up the Gratitude Bulbs and decorate the tree. There will be cookies and hot chocolate provided for the helpers. Please let Mr. Derksen know if you will be participating. 


Girls' Strength Club - Girls' Strength Club is today! No matter your comfort with working out or weightlifting, all staff and students are welcome to join from 3:20 - 4:20. Questions? See Ms. Parr!


Pickleball - If you are interested in joining the pickleball team there will be practice Thursday, December 4th at 7:00AM in the gym. If you are interested in joining the team but can't make practice you can message Mr. Bially on teams for more information.


Varsity Girls Volleyball - The Varsity Girls Volleyball team wrapped up their AAA Provincial run with an incredible battle this past Friday! The girls went point-for-point with 5th-ranked St. John's, narrowly dropping two hard-fought sets 27–25, 27–25. Their effort, grit, and teamwork were on full display from start to finish. Congratulations to the team on an outstanding season, and best of luck to all players as they head into their next sport seasons!


Varsity Boys Volleyball - Congratulations to the varsity boys volleyball team on their 2nd place finish at provincials this weekend. After finishing 2nd in their power pool, the Zodiacs defeated Westgate 2-0 in the quarterfinals, and also beat Linden Christian 2-0 in the semi finals, and then lost a hard fought battle to Neelin in the finals. Alfredo was awarded the players choice award and Noah and Adrian were named to the Provincial All-Star team. The Zodiacs finished the season with an incredible overall record of 42-5
